Jewell Kennels is a small, family-owned breeding program located in Allerton, Iowa, in south central Iowa near the Missouri state line. Owned and operated by Rebecca Dudley and her family, we specialize in raising Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles with exceptional temperaments for families, therapy work, and service potential.
As an elementary teacher, Rebecca understands the importance of patience, consistency, and positive experiences during a puppy's earliest weeks. That's why we intentionally keep our program small, raising only a handful of litters each year so every puppy receives the individual attention, socialization, and care they deserve.
Our goal is simple: to raise confident, healthy, loving puppies that transition seamlessly into their new homes and become treasured members of your family for years to come.

Jewell Kennels was founded in 2016 with two incredible dogs, Norman and Penny, and a dream of raising puppies with exceptional temperaments. What started as a passion has grown into a trusted breeding program focused on producing loving family companions and therapy dogs. Nearly a decade later, our mission remains the same: to give every puppy the best possible start through intentional breeding, early socialization, and individualized care.

The health of every puppy begins with the health of their parents. All of our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive Embark DNA testing and receive appropriate OFA certifications to help ensure they meet high standards for genetic health and soundness. Every puppy also comes with a two-year genetic health guarantee, giving you added confidence that your new companion has been thoughtfully and responsibly bred.

Our goal is to produce confident, affectionate puppies that thrive as family companions, therapy dogs, and service prospects. From birth, we intentionally socialize each puppy with people, children, new experiences, and everyday sights and sounds to help them grow into well-adjusted, confident dogs.

Bringing home your puppy is just the beginning of our relationship. We are always here to answer questions, offer guidance, and celebrate milestones throughout your dog's life. Many of our puppy families stay in touch for years, sharing updates and photos, and we're honored that so many return to Jewell Kennels when they're ready to welcome another puppy.
